Job Responsibilities

Your Mission The Manager, Softlines, is responsible for leading apparel & accessories, home, & HBA categories for Activision’s portfolio of IP including Call of Duty, Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot and other emerging franchises by aligning and collaborating with game development teams, AB Studios (Film & TV division), Consumer Marketing, Product Marketing, Legal and other cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a strong Apparel & Accessories background, licensing industry experience, go-to market experience, excellent organizational and time-management skills, a strong sense of commitment to and personal ownership of the responsibilities assigned to them, and ability to collaborate creatively and strategically. This position will report to the VP of Global Consumer Products (Head of CP). Duties and Responsibilities: • Direct and manage the development and implementation of short and long-term strategies for apparel, accessory, home, HBA categories • Identify and secure growth opportunities in assigned categories globally • Coordinate with international consumer products teams to support localized category commercialization • Collaborate with buyers and internal retail marketing teams to ensure product launches are maximized with high level of retail support • Actively manage and motivate licensees to execute against licensing program, retail development plans, and franchise goals • Collaborate across internal teams to ensure quality, brand consistency, and product execution for defined distribution windows • Negotiate and review business terms and licensing contracts • Fiscal responsibility for assigned product categories to include quarterly revenue forecasting • Identify and analyze material differences in licensees’ forecast versus actual royalty reports and devise solutions to improve performance • Actively manage and oversee development and execution of marketing programs in support of product category

Job Requirements

Player Profile • 5-7 years of licensing and/or apparel & accessories experience • Ability to identify and evaluate best-in-class licensees and partners; negotiate optimal terms • Understands the brand consumer, product and print innovations, drives quality and champions innovation in product development to ensure lines are commercially viable for all territories while meeting retailer needs. • Strong understanding of culturally relevant brands and experience in developing fashion brand collaborations • Ability to collaborate and influence cross functional teams (such as development, creative, marketing, legal, etc.) • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment with various internal groups • Solid relationships in the licensing industry • Strong communication and presentation skills • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field • Passion for video games a plus
