  Location Los Angeles California, United States of America Business TOHO INTERNATIONAL INC.FLSA Status: Exempt Position: Finance Director Reporting to CFO, TOHO INTERNATIONAL INC.       The Finance Director will play a key role for Consumer Products Licensing at Toho International, Inc. This position is critical to the financial health.    

Job Responsibilities

·       Responsible for financial operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, general accounting, cash flow and contract management. ·       Review, approve (both operationally and financially) and track via purchase order commitment log all creative and non-creative Pos ·       Review and audit all signed contracts for Contract Management System, fully execute contracts in system, create accounts receivables, royalty buckets and general ledger accounts ·       Identify and apply all cash from licensee and agents to system and follow up on any late payments form licensees or agents ·       Collect, input and manage all royalty reports and follow up on any late, missing or incorrectly calculated reports ·       Point person for any contract, revenue, expense or overhead reports ·       The role requires the ability to multi-task across numerous ad-hoc projects including, but not limited to those listed here. ·       Ensures all financial operations are in compliance with governmental rules and regulations. ·       Provides guidance to managers and executive in financial reporting objectives and standards to ensure accurate, compliant and useful financial reporting is produced. ·       Oversees the budget process and works with managers and executives to produce and manage effective budgets. ·       Acts as an advisor to management on regulations and other matters that may impact the financial activities of the company, engaging with outside consultants if applicable. ·       Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. ·       Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.

Job Requirements

·        bachelor's degree. ·       5-10 years of Consumer, License Business experience ·       5-10 years of International Company worked experience ·       CPA and/or MBA a plus Preferred ·       Japanese Fluency
