MoveableCode Licensed to Publish Tom Arma Step by Story™ eBooks
NEW YORK (August 4, 2011) – CopCorp Licensing President Carole Postal today announced a licensing deal granting digital publisher MoveableCode Inc. the right to utilize celebrated photographer Tom Arma’s “costumed cuties” for the publisher’s new Step by Story™ electronic/eBook application (www.stepbystory.com) for smartphones, and popular tablets such as the iPad.
“Tom Arma’s costumed cuties have a timeless appeal but our licensing program keeps pace with changing trends and technologies,” says Postal. “Step by Story will be a great new way to share Tom Arma’s costumed cuties with a growing audience of tech-enabled parents and their app-savvy children.”
“Step by Story uses a build-your-own story format to deliver playful child-driven learning for pre-readers and early readers up to age 6 reading level,” says Kevin Mowrer, CCO of Moveable Code.
Step by Story is a new, unique, high quality eBook application created by MoveableCode. Step by Story will be marketed towards parents, grandparents, guardians, caregivers and others who wish to use their smart devices to interactively entertain and educate youngsters. The first Tom Arma Step by Story title is scheduled to be available in time for Holiday 2011.
