What was your reaction when you first found out you had received a Licensing International Foundation Scholarship?
I remember this as if it was just a moment ago. When I first read the email saying I had been selected, I could hardly believe my eyes. I felt a rush of emotions—honor, joy, and a bit of disbelief. This scholarship gave me a sense of belonging and purpose, reassuring me that I was on the right path. That moment was a turning point for me, filling me with the confidence and excitement to push forward and chase my ambitions with even more heart.

What did receiving this scholarship mean to you?
Receiving the Licensing International Foundation Scholarship meant the world to me. It was not only a recognition of my hard work and dedication but also a vote of confidence in my potential to make a meaningful impact in the licensing field. It made me feel valued and supported, like I was part of a larger community that believed in my dreams. This scholarship validated my commitment to my career path and motivated me to strive for excellence.

Absolutely, this scholarship made me rethink my career goals. I initially saw my future in a more traditional STEM field, but receiving the Licensing International Foundation Scholarship opened my eyes to the possibilities within the licensing industry. It made me realize that my analytical skills and passion for innovation could be applied in exciting and impactful ways in this field. Now, I am looking forward to a future where I can combine my technical background with the dynamic world of licensing, pursuing a career that bridges both my interests and new opportunities.

How have you grown professionally and personally from this experience?

Looking ahead, what are your next steps or aspirations?
Looking ahead, my next steps involve furthering my education and gaining more hands-on experience in the licensing industry. I aspire to take on roles that allow me to innovate and contribute to the field, particularly in the areas of marketing, retail management, and product development. I am also very interested in applying to the 2024 Licensing International Foundation Scholarship program to further expand my network, be more involved, and attend professional development seminars led by industry experts. Long-term, I hope to be in a position where I can mentor and inspire others, just as I have been inspired by the support and guidance I have received through this scholarship program.
