New Doge Book Cover Unveiled on Doge Day in Japan

Idaho Falls, ID — Children’s book publisher Green Kids Club is teaming up with Own the Doge, owner of the Doge meme and crypto coin featuring Kabosu to create a Doge book featuring the world-famous dog.

The cover of the new book was revealed at the international Doge Day  in Japan on November 2. Doge (or D.O.G.E.), synonymous with pet rescue, aims to spread the positive message, “Do Only Good Everyday.”

The new partnership marks Green Kids Club’s first licensing deal and book centering on pet rescue.

The Doge book, “Do Only Good Everyday, The Story of Kabosu the Doge“, will be available on the Green Kids Club website and Amazon in January 2027.

The title will be written by Green Kids Club founder Sylvia M. Medina, an environmental engineer who has published 25 children’s books, including Grizzly 399 – inspired by the real-life grizzly bear that lived in Grand Teton National Park and Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming and was one of the most photographed bears in the world. The book will be illustrated by Jonah Torres.

A majority of the proceeds from the sale of the Doge title will be donated to animal rescue organizations, including Love the Wild Foundation, founded by Medina in 2026, and With Kabosu, a mobile flower shop and animal rescue nonprofit established by Doge’s owner, Atsuko Sato.

Since its inception, Own The Doge has donated more than $2 million to charities supporting dogs and kids. It is currently the all-time largest donor of crypto currency to Save The Children, an international organization advocating for the rights of children worldwide.

“Green Kids Club has always been focused on the importance of protecting animals in the wild. Through our new partnership with Doge, we are expanding our mission to include domestic animals and their welfare,” said Medina, who is also the founder of the Snake River Animal Shelter in Idaho Falls. “This is an incredibly exciting time for us at Green Kids Club as we broaden our efforts and boost awareness for all animals, with the goal of supporting pet adoption as well as species and habitat preservation.”

“When I first met Sylvia, we instantly connected around the importance of animal rescue. Her dedication to sharing the stories of some of the world’s most remarkable animals with young readers made her the perfect choice for our first Doge children’s book,” said Courtney “Smoke” Tammaro, CEO of Own The Doge. “At Own The Doge, our mission is to use the Doge image to empower original creators globally while prioritizing the ethos of D.O.G.E. I’m confident that together we will capture Kabosu’s incredible story, from adoption to international fame, while highlighting the rescuer’s essential role and the enduring impact of the Doge meme in internet culture and beyond.”
