Crayola is a mission-driven brand that helps parents and teachers raise creatively alive children. In addition to Crayola’s dominant presence in craft aisles across retail, Crayola licensing extends the brand in a wide range of branded programs. In 2025, Crayola celebrated color equity, bringing eight colors out of retirement for a limited time. Crayola Licensing extended the limited edition colors into a nostalgia-infused product range with a nod to 1990s trends, the decade when many of these colors were retired. Lee Jeans customized 90s silhouettes, Caboodles and Bioworld created a colorful line of storage featured on an endcap at Target, Loblaws launched a lifestyle program, and DTC brands Goodr, Little Words Project, and S’well all had exclusive offerings in celebration of Crayola’s Color Rewind.
Dog Man – Monster Island (Joester Loria Group)

Dog Man, Dav Pilkey’s powerhouse publishing franchise and rapidly growing multi-media brand, delivered exceptional success across licensing in 2025. JAKKS Pacific, the master toy partner, launched a full range of figures and plush timed to the release of DreamWorks/Universal’s number one box office hit The Dog Man Movie, making it the second largest new action figure property in Spring 2025. Complementing the toy program, Mindscape’s Dog Man: Mission Impawsible video game debuted to immediate global sell outs and eight-figure retail revenue. Additional top performing categories included University Games’ chart leading puzzles and board games, Bioworld’s expansive apparel and accessories program, and a strong school supply program with Oriental Trading and Raymond Geddes. Major retailers across the U.S., the U.K., and Australia—including Walmart, Target, Amazon, Argos, Kmart, and Big W—supported apparel, toys, games, home, and more. Dynamic marketing covering media, influencer partnerships, retail circulars, and book and movie cross-promotions reached an estimated 196 million consumers.
Dr. Seuss Enterprises

Dr. Seuss Enterprises is a leading global children’s entertainment company dedicated to promoting literacy, education, self-confidence, and the boundless possibilities of a child’s imagination through the works of Dr. Seuss. Building upon Dr. Seuss’s creative and whimsical world, the company has forged hundreds of licensing deals across virtually every category, expanding its global presence. In 2025, Dr. Seuss Enterprises celebrated numerous top-tier collaborations, including partnerships with buzzworthy brands like McDonald’s, Walmart, Spam, Crocs, Gruns, Kitsch, and more. All are part of the brand’s ongoing mission to bring the wonder of Dr. Seuss to life for new generations.
Moomin – Moomin Characters Ltd (Rights & Brands)

The Moomins were created in 1945 by artist Tove Jansson. The Moomin books have been translated into more than 60 languages, charming millions of readers. In 2025, the Moomin retail value increased by 11% and the brand has 900 licensees worldwide, including Acne Studios, Barnes & Noble, Uniqlo, and Fiskars Group. The Moomin phenomenon extends to theme parks in Japan and Finland, over 30 global shops and cafés, and a social media following of 4.7 million, engaging with over 66 million fans annually. The artwork is featured in exhibitions worldwide and new publishing based on Jansson’s original stories are published each year. In 2025, the Moomins marked 80 years with exhibitions, book launches, charity efforts, product releases, and the announcement of a new animated film by Annapurna. New partnerships with Urban Outfitters expanded Moomin products to all 195 U.S. stores, alongside collaborations with Acne Studios, tao by Comme des Garçons, and PATOU. Moomin Characters and the Red Cross also continued their partnership across 15 countries to support global care and safety.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar/World of Eric Carle – Penguin Random House (Joester Loria Group)

In 2025, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Eric Carle’s classic picture book, fueled global sales of World of Eric Carle across product categories and experiential partnerships. New publishing (+4%), consumer products (+5%), collaborations, DTR’s, multi-category retail campaigns, and placement at Walmart and Target drove growth and two billion impressions. Partnerships including Kellogg’s and McDonalds Japan engaged millions of consumers with Happy Meal toys selling out in two weeks. Experiential licenses included Play Park Eric Carle in Tokyo; nature trails at Bluewater, Natural Trust; and dedicated accommodations and experiences at Gullivers, U.K. Live Shows sold out in Australia, the U.S., the U.K., South Korea, and Japan. The award-winning VCH subscription app and YouTube channel delivered new content. DTRs and collaborations with Monica+Andy, Kyte Baby, Loved Baby, Bombas, HydroFlask, Uniqlo, United Arrows (Japan), Skinny Dip, and MORI (U.K.) delivered apparel, home, and food. Leading retailers worldwide supported WEC apparel, toys, games, home, and more.
