Mad Engine to Donate Fabric Masks to Charities and Organizations For Frontline Workers
San Diego, CA — Mad Engine, a global leader in licensed and branded apparel and accessories announced today that it will give away one million non-branded fabric masks to charities and organizations for frontline, essential workers and others in need during the COVID-19 crisis.
Mad Engine, through its GoodWorks initiative, has donated to many organizations like the Blood Bank, City of Hope, Shelter Partnership and other well-renowned charitable entities. Danish Gajiani, CEO, says, “Many families and organizations are left without access to desperately needed essentials during this pandemic. We at Mad Engine want to do whatever we can to help frontline, essential workers and others in need.”
Mad Engine will be tracking all giveaways through its system and will keep a running total until they reach ONE MILLION. They have started manufacturing these masks two weeks ago at Mad Engine plants in Mexico and currently have more than 100,000 units in their facility ready to ship. The masks were made from re-purposed t-shirt blanks and fabric, some of which became available when retailers cancelled order amid the pandemic. “The world is in need and we all have to do what we can to help. The only way to get through this is together,” says Faizan Hanif Bakali, President/COO.
