Brand New Look for LIMA Global Networking Party at BLE
LIMA UK is hoping to turn its BLE Global Networking party into its best yet with a sparkling new venue and high profile sponsor. The party takes place on Wednesday 16th October from 5.30pm – 7.30pm in the Crystal Room at the luxurious five-star Mayfair Hotel, Sutton Street. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the body dedicated to promoting Hong Kong trade and opportunities, is to sponsor the event for the first time.
LIMA’s party is the place to see and be seen at BLE and this year will be no exception. LIMA is expecting to attract over 150 people to the hotel which is acknowledged as one of London’s most beautiful private venues with stunning bespoke Baccarat chandeliers and bronzed and lacquered decorative walls. Guests will enjoy drinks and delicious canapés served from the adjacent cocktail bar. Organisers have again set the time early so that attendees remain free to schedule private or client dinners for later in the evening.
As well as being an unmissable opportunity for guests to unwind after the second day of BLE, the party is also a valuable place to do business and many new licensing relationships are formed. Last year, senior executives from the likes of Paramount Pictures, Coca-Cola, CBS and Mattel attended and there was a significant international presence.
Established in 1966, event sponsor, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), is a statutory body dedicated to promoting Hong Kong trade. Its mission is to create opportunities for Hong Kong companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, by promoting trade in goods and services globally.
Kelvyn Gardner, Managing Director of LIMA UK, said: “Our networking event has really come of age – the feedback from previous years has been fantastic and once again we wanted to make our party one of the highlights of BLE. We are very pleased that the Hong Kong Trade Development Council has decided to come on board as sponsor. This demonstrates the level of international interest in the licensing industry and the opportunities that it offers worldwide.”
The highly anticipated LIMA UK Brand Licensing Europe networking event will take place on Wednesday 16th October 2013 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at The Mayfair, London. Tickets cost £50 +VAT for LIMA members and £100 +VAT for non-members. To book tickets and for more information contact Ryan Beaird, LIMA Membership Services Manager on +44+ (0)1908 802 863 or email rbeaird@licensing.org. LIMA will be on stand R20 at BLE.
