Camilla d'Errico Nominated for 2011 Eisner Award
“Little Red Riding Hood” by Bryan Talbot and Camilla d’Errico has been nominated for Best Short Story in the 2011 Eisner Awards, which will be presented at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
It is truly a great honor for Camilla to be nominated for the most prestigious award in the comic book industry, and especially to be able to share recognition alongside some of the world’s most talented creators.
Camilla d’Errico and Bryan Talbot’s The “Little Red Riding Hood” story was part of Fractured Fables – Image Comics’ 2010 hardcover anthology, as well as the headline story in the Free Comic Book Day issue of Fractured Fables. The Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards are considered the “Oscars” of the comic book industry. They are handed out each year in July at a gala ceremony at Comic-Con International: San Diego, the largest and oldest comics convention in the United States.

The Eisner nomination is the second prestigious comics achievement nomination this year for Camilla, as she was nominated “Outstanding Comic Book Artist” for the Joe Shuster Canadian Comic Book Creator Awards, Canada’s highest honor in comics & graphic novel creation.
