Princeton, NJ— Michael Graves Design announces a groundbreaking direct-to-retail design collaboration with CVS Pharmacy. CVS Pharmacy and Michael Graves Design are bringing to market a collection of thoughtfully designed adaptive home health care products that deliver superior comfort, style, and performance. The CVS Health by Michael Graves Design collection, an extension of the exclusive CVS Health product line, is available on CVS.com now and in more than 6,000 stores throughout the U.S.

The CVS Pharmacy Store Brands team recognized that Michael Graves Design, pioneers of the Design for All movement, was uniquely qualified to design transformative home health care products that provide coordinated experiences and enhanced wellbeing. Michael Graves Design understood that CVS Pharmacy was exceptionally well positioned to provide the products that people need, when and where they need them, as a trusted health and wellness destination for millions of consumers daily. To start the project, Michael Graves Design lead a consumer research phase, in collaboration with CVS, including ethnography with users, caregivers and clinicians, from New Jersey to Florida, to discover and incorporate new consumer insights.

This collaboration is especially meaningful for Michael Graves Design, since 5years removed from his death, it carries on two of Michael Graves’ most pioneering legacies: direct-to-retail design partnerships and improving health care and caregiving experience by design. Over the last decade of his life, Michael became a passionate voice among the disabled and used the power of design to improve health care experiences for patients, families, and clinicians. Together with CVS Pharmacy, we are reinventing the home health care category with products that are research insight driven, visually appealing, full of character and purpose, that enhance people’s lives with moments of joy.
