Deer Little Forestis an Arts & Lifestyle brand created by Jo Rose featuring a collection of animal and nature inspired designs. Jo’s utterly unique illustration style, which won her a Henries’ Award nomination for Most Promising Artist/Designer, is created using an original combination of hand-drawn illustrations, cut outs, patterns and photography.
Launched as a licensing brand in 2013 at BLE, Deer Little Forest originally found popularity as greeting cards in high-end UK retailers such as Harrods, Liberty, John Lewis, Selfridges, Paperchase, and Rizzoli Book Shop in Somerset House. It has since grown from a greeting card design concept into an instantly recognizable Arts & Lifestyle brand across stationary, apps, homewares and publishing.
Some key Deer Little Forest licenses include: monthly activity pages in UK preschool activity magazines GET BUSY and BUSY TIME since February 2015, alongside such known brands as Peppa Pig, Bob the Builder and The Gruffalo; beautiful 18-game App featuring memory games, puzzles, greeting cards and a full digital book; and children’s lampshades in Germany.
