Goochicoo’s the Daddy!
Latest figures from Moonpig.com have shown that cards featuring design-led baby/toddler property Goochicoo were top-sellers for the online retailer for Father’s Day!
Goochicoo is the top performing design led pre-school brand from The Backland Studio and features a range of fantastic little characters accompanied by slogans such as ‘Give Peas a Chance‘ and ‘The Piddler’. Outperforming other major-sellers for the retailer, the property’s performance is further evidence of just how much appetite the British public has for cute imagery combined with a wicked sense of humour!
Goochicoo’s popularity has enabled licensing agent Bulldog Licensing to build up a strong programme for the brand, with partners including the likes of Poetic Gem for apparel and publisher Little Star, which has launched a range of ‘my first year’ baby books with strong sales being reported across retail.
Other licensees include Izziwotnot for bedding, whilst MV Sports and Leisure has developed a top-selling range of talking plush toys and doll accessories and licensed product specialist Bluebird Brands is on board with a wide range of merchandise that includes mugs, luggage, and travel and car accessories.
