New York [For Immediate Release –January 13, 2014] HGTV HOME announced today the launch of its HGTV HOME Baby furniture collection—now available for purchase exclusively in 86 buybuy BABY® stores in the United States.  The first two offerings in the furniture collection—“Grayson” and “Hayden”—feature fresh, beautiful designs with gender neutral options that will complement any nursery décor.  The innovative lines are designed to easily transition as the child grows from baby to young adulthood. “The popularity of the HGTV HOME furniture collections made the extension to a nursery line a natural fit,” said Ron Feinbaum, general manager and SVP, consumer products, HGTV. “We’re delighted to launch the HGTV HOME Baby Furniture line in hopes of helping parents bring the design, inspiration and ideas they enjoy from HGTV into their nurseries.”
“Grayson” and “Hayden” both offer a generously proportioned six-drawer double dresser and five-drawer tall chest. However, the Grayson line, showcases two finishes, weathered oak “Dusk” or satin “Midnight,” and is an updated interpretation of the classic framed crib. It has a 4-in-1 lifetime convertible kit that can transition into four mattress settings—crib to toddler bed, and daybed to adult double bed. In contrast, the Hayden line presents cherry veneers on poplar solids set within beveled, dark chocolate framework. It offers two crib options, the 4-in-1 lifetime convertible crib, plus an innovative 4-in-1 standard crib with four levels of mattress settings—a crib, toddler bed, daybed and set of twin beds.
“Our inspiration is based on classic styling with updated accents that offer a new sensibility in nursery and kids’ furniture,” said Nancy Fire, HGTV HOME Design Director. “We want to provide the same quality, design and functionality for baby products that we offer across all HGTV HOME collections.”
