Iconix Brand Group Appoints Craig Herman to Executive Director of Publishing for Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment
New York, NY (March 18, 2013) – Iconix Brand Group today announced it has appointed Craig Herman to Executive Director of Publishing for Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment. Effective immediately, Herman will drive the editorial content of the publishing program for the Peanuts brand on a global basis, as well as transition the business to the optimal blend of physical books, e-books, and hybrid digibooks and apps. He will also maintain and build relationships with key retailers to maximize the business potential for the category.

Herman joins Peanuts after a successful tenure at Philadelphia-based Running Press, where he was an integral part of the team that acquired many highly visible properties including Peanuts and Comedy Central books. His formative years in publishing began at Warner Books where he worked with a number of New York Times bestselling writers and franchises. He has also held positions at HarperCollins and Simon &Schuster. Herman is the recipient of the Literary Marketplace Award for marketing excellence and was named an Advertising Age Top 50 Marketer for the world-wide bestseller, Skinny Bitch.
