IMG College Takes Vault Licensing Program on the Road

IMG College Licensing takes its vintage College Vault program on the road for a promotional tour backed by social media influencers representing nine schools.

Working with the travel firm Roadie, the IMG-sponsored and five-stop bus tour started in Las Vegas on Sept. 23 and ends today. The largely Instagram-based influencers donned licensed apparel – t-shirts, sweaters, fleece, caps and drinkware, and were required to post daily. The products are not being sold as part of the tour, but are available through participating licensee web sites and shop.collegevault.com.

The influencers were required to have a minimum 50,000 followers. Schools involved in the tour were the University of Alabama, University of Florida, University of Minnesota, University of Mississippi, University of Tennessee, Texas Christian University, University of Missouri, Texas A&M and Texas Tech. The Vault program has a total of 72 schools.

The apparel was drawn from seven licensees: ’47 Brand (caps), Ebbets Field (t-shirts, flannels), Fanatics Apparel, Hillflint (cashmere sweaters and crewneck sweatshirts), Original Retro Brand (vintage t-shirts) Tailgate and Tervis (drinkware).
