Laura Ashley Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Launch in Japan

This year, Laura Ashley celebrates the 30th anniversary of its launch in Japan.

A brand presentation for licensees organized by Laura Ashley Japan was held at the British Embassy yesterday in Tokyo. A UK based Laura Ashley brand manager talked about the state of the business in the UK home market and other countries, and presented new design themes for 2017. A talk session followed between the brand manager and a Laura Ashley Japan licensing manager covering design and approval issues.

The 3-hour presentation finished with a networking opportunity for participants. Takanori Ueno, Licensing Director at Laura Ashley Japan, who is also a LIMA Japan director, commented, “We hope that by providing this networking opportunity, we can create a new “chemistry” between the participants.
