Legendary Pictures Announces Partners for Crimson Peak, Warcraft, and Krampus at Licensing Expo 2015

 BURBANK, Calif., June 3, 2015 – Legendary Pictures heads into Licensing Expo 2015 [armed and dangerous][1] with an impressive lineup of licensees for a movie slate featuring devils, demons, and worlds colliding. Millions of fans across the globe have been hanging onto every announcement regarding Legendary’s upcoming movie Warcraft, which is based upon Blizzard Entertainment’s globally-renowned universe. Directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and written by Charles Leavitt and Jones, the film stars Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Rob Kazinsky and Daniel Wu. From the imagination of director Guillermo del Toro comes Crimson Peak, a supernatural mystery starring Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, Charlie Hunnam and Jim Beaver. Warcraft
The armies of the Horde and the Alliance face off in an epic conflict set in the high fantasy world of Azeroth. To bring this movie into the home, Legendary has partnered with a powerful roster of licensees set to create a wide array of product in a variety of categories including toys and figures, apparel and accessories, costumes and publishing and more. Global master toy partner JAKKS Pacific will release action figures in all scales, and role-play items. Crimson Peak
Called “gorgeous and terrifying” by Stephen King, Crimson Peak takes viewers into a house atop a mountain of blood-red clay: a place filled with secrets that will haunt an aspiring author forever. Legendary has partnered with a group of licensees for a range of products – including apparel, figures, books, fragrances, jewelry, and more – that will elicit the same desire and darkness, mystery and madness that fans will feel in the movie. Leading designer and developer of licensed merchandise for globally recognized brands Ripple Junction will be developing a line of apparel showcasing the look and feel of the movie. Based on the ancient legend of a pagan demon who punishes the wicked around the holidays, Michael Dougherty’s latest film is filled with iconic characters and creatures that are a must[-see?] for horror fans everywhere. To satisfy their appetites, Legendary has teamed with WETA Workshop for a line of collectibles and novelty gifts. Additionally, Middle of Beyond will create knitted sweaters and ornaments. Krampus, a Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures production, hits theaters December 4, 2015.
