Licensing Expo – the world’s largest licensing trade show, produced in partnership with industry trade association Licensing International – opened its online platform today, allowing anyone who has registered for this year’s event to search the exhibitor list and brand/IP directory and start booking meetings in preparation for the event.

Licensing Expo takes place in person on May 24-26, 2022, at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The online platform will remain open after the in-person show from May 27 to June 3 to allow follow-up meetings to take place and all content from the show to be viewed on-demand. Visitors can register for the in-person and online portions of the event for free at www.licensingexpo.com.

As well as facilitating introductions, IP discovery, and meeting bookings, the online platform will host on-demand educational content and exhibitor trailers. The online meetings function enabled 4,500+ meetings in 2019 between retailers, designers, manufacturers, and exhibiting brand owners and agents.

“2022 will be the first in-person Licensing Expo for three years, so schedules are expected to fill up incredibly quickly,” said Informa Markets SVP of Licensing Anna Knight. “With only six weeks to go, I strongly recommend that visitors register early to gain access to the platform and start making appointments as soon as possible so that they don’t miss out.

“The online platform is searchable by exhibitor name and by IP in our Brand Directory, which is incredibly useful if you know which properties you’re interested in seeing but are unsure who owns or represents them. And our online follow-up week is a great complement to the in-person experience. While attending Licensing Expo is the best way to experience the show and the brands first-hand, reconnect with partners and make meaningful connections, you can still take part virtually if you can’t be there in person.”

The online meetings platform facilitated 6,000+ meetings during the Virtual edition of Licensing Expo in 2021 across three days and will maintain all the great functionality to enable more meetings and ROI from the in-person event.

Licensing Expo boasts a wide range of exhibitors and brands from across the globe, covering the full spectrum of categories from sports to animation and heritage to gaming.

Latest exhibitors confirmed to exhibit include kathy ireland Worldwide, Amazon Studios, Konami Cross Media NY, MLB Players, Netflix, TSBA, Sesame Workshop, Thomas Global Media, joining the 200+ already confirmed exhibitors including Buzzfeed, Warner Bros CP, Crayola, NBC Universal, Coca-Cola, Shell, American Mensa, Dorna Sports, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Epic Rights, Frida Kahlo, Funko, Mattel, La Panaderia, Maui and Sons, MGM Studios, Moonbug Entertainment, Paul Frank, Hasbro, Peanuts Worldwide, Pokemon Company, Retail Monster, SEGA of America, Striker Entertainment, Tetris, WildBrain CPLG, MGA Entertainment, Paramount, The Smiley Company, LAI Games, Sanrio, NASCAR and more.

These exhibitors represent some of the world’s biggest brands, including The Batman, Elden Ring, CoCoMelon, Bridgerton, Monster Jam, Chuck E. Cheese, Dune, The Hollywood Reporter, Minions, Keith Haring, NFLPA, Ryan’s World, Peaky Blinders, League of Legends and thousands more.

Exhibitors and select retail companies can also take advantage of a free VIP concierge service, which offers one-on-one support booking meetings with select companies.

With thousands of retailers and manufacturers already registered to attend, including Walmart, Kohl’s, Alibaba Group, Moleskine, Fanatics, Build-a-Bear, Amscan International, Hallmarks Cards, Old Navy, Mad Engine, Hot Topic, Inditex, Primark, Target and more, prospect attendees are encouraged to register early and start booking meetings ahead of May 24-26, 2022, when Licensing Expo returns.
