Now “Watch” This: New Crypto-Collectible Watch Faces to Debut at CES Expo in Las Vegas

Las Vegas NV: January 7th, 2020: Watch Skins Corp. is proud to announce the launch of the world’s first blockchain watch face marketplace at the CES Expo in Las Vegas, January 7-10 (Booth #53148).  Using their new patent-pending technology, Watch Skins® can connect smartwatch users with their favorite brands and offer collectible and customizable skins.

The Watch Skins mobile application is available for Android and IOS devices, pairs to almost any smartwatch, and gives consumers the ability to purchase authentic, licensed smartwatch faces from their favorite brands. Watch Skins is partnering with premium entertainment and fashion brands, and using blockchain smart contracts to offer officially licensed content to smartwatch users.

By leveraging Non-Fungible Token (NFT) technology, Watch Skins can offer limited edition collectible smartwatch faces and other licensed content to the rapidly growing smartwatch market. The Watch Skins app provides a platform for a worldwide ecosystem of smartwatch users and allows them to buy, sell, and trade content anywhere in the world via its peer-to-peer auction system. The Watch Skins app also allows users to customize their smartwatch faces and display their licensed digital collectibles to their smartwatch.

Watch Skins has partnered with a leading licensing agency, The Brand Liaison, to handle all aspects of licensing. Headed by industry veterans Steven Heller and Cory Waisner, The Brand Liaison is already in talks with major brands for licensing.

“This is such a cutting edge technology,” explained Steven Heller. “Watch Skins has figured out how to combine the elements of limited-edition blockchain collectibles, with fashion and smartwatch technology to create an entirely new category. Really for the first time ever, collectors can now enjoy practical use as well as showing off their most prized collectibles.”

According to Founder and CEO Collin Knock, “Watch Skins is about giving customers choices. We’re able to offer a wide variety of branded fashion and entertainment content, which in turn gives companies an amazing opportunity to license their intellectual property in the form of digital watch faces. It gives customers access to brands in an exciting new format, and it keeps companies relevant and in front of consumers in the digital age. Many exciting licensing possibilities are coming in the future, and we’re optimistic about what Watch Skins is contributing to the future of licensing using blockchain and crypto.”

Knock went on to say, “It’s adding an amazing amount of utility to the blockchain by tying together smart wearables, licensing and crypto-collectibles as we have. We’ve had a very positive response from respected minds in the crypto space, and Watch Skins’ Singapore based subsidiary company Watch Skins Pte. Ltd. is currently preparing to launch the sale of the WATCH utility token on a major cryptocurrency exchange”.

The company is leading off sales with its subsidiary brand Crypto Watches. Crypto Watches is the first-ever blockchain watch face brand and will roll out worldwide in the spring of 2020.

With large screen explainer videos, Watch Skins will debut their proprietary blockchain technology at CES Expo in Las Vegas, January 7-10 (Booth # 53148). The company is already setting up meetings with major retailers and top brands. For more information, please contact Collin Knock at hello@watchskins.com.
