Rovio Opens London Development Studio
Rovio Entertainment opens a new development studio in London to create new, non-Angry Birds titles and work alongside a licensing group there, says a company spokesman. The first titles from the London operation will likely emerge in 2018 with staff there expected to grow to 20 employees within two years. The London studio is headed by Mark Sorrell, who previously was VP Product. The London studio is Rovio’s fourth, joining one in Stockholm and two in Finland.
