Sad start to 2013 as two former BBC Licensing heads pass away
UK Licensing was still reeeling from the blow of the untimely death of Chris Protheroe, latterly CEO of CPLG, when we also heard of the decease of Roy Williams, the original head of BBC licensing in the early days of the industry. Roy, who died on the same day as Chris ( 28th December ) was a pioneer of UK licensing in the 1960s. Both Roy and Chris will be sadly missed.
