Sanrio Foundation Begins Tour of UK Pediatric Hospitals
Starting in London on February 10th, the Sanrio Foundation will bring smiles and little gifts to small patients around the country.
Following a successful London fundraising event in January 2011, Sanrio Foundation is taking off to visit kids in UK hospitals. The tour was organized in collaboration with Lollypop Radio, a local charity organisation which brings radio entertainment to children’s hospitals. Sanrio Foundation will bring the Hello Kitty mascot and Gormiti mascot, thanks to kind donations from Giochi Preziosi, to visit more then 10 hospitals in the UK territory.
About Sanrio Foundation
Sanrio Foundation was established in 2010.
The main mission of Sanrio Foundation is to bring smiles and help to children in hospitals around the world. Sanrio Foundation brings Hello Kitty mascot and other Sanrio characters to the paediatric hospitals, where they
interact with little patients by distributing small gifts, taking pictures and even organising birthday celebrations for the most needing ones. In the more underprivileged countries, Sanrio Foundation supports the hospitals themselves by donating the primary necessities and essential products. The image of Sanrio’s characters is also given free to the hospitals to decorate children’s rooms and spaces or producing social purpose products.
