The London Symphony Orchestra tunes up for Elmer’s 30th Birthday Party!

Andersen Press, publishers of Elmer, has announced a unique collaboration with the World-famous, London Symphony Orchestra. The partnership is the latest in a series of new events-based initiatives to celebrate 30 years of Elmer in 2019.

The LSO musicians will deliver their birthday tribute to Elmer the Patchwork Elephant with a musical re-telling of the latest book in the Elmer series, Elmer’s Walk featuring specially commissioned music by composer Lillie Harris created for the under 5s, two performances will take place at The Jerwood Hall in LSO St Luke’s, London at 10am and 11.30am on June 23rd. An interactive concert for mini music makers, Elmer’s Walk offers younger children a chance to experience a live performance and to dance and sing their way through the concert as the instruments bring the tale to life.
