New York, New York – April 18, 2016 – The T.J. Martell Foundation for leukemia, cancer and AIDS research has announced its 2016 Women of Influence Awards which will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at The Plaza Hotel, Terrace Room located at 768 5th Avenue in New York.  The awards and luncheon will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a reception and silent auction beginning earlier at 11:30 a.m.  The awards celebration will honor seven outstanding women who have achieved tremendous goals in business and inspire other women around the globe to live their dreams while balancing work, family, home and health.
The seven honorees continue to leave profound impressions on their fields and in the lives of others. This year’s honorees include Ariane Duarte, Executive Chef and Owner at Ariane Kitchen and Bar; Debra Joester, President and Owner of The Joester Loria Group; Kristine Johnson, CBS 2 Co-Anchor 5pm and 11pm Newscasts; Dalia-Lamming Tilly,  M.B.A., Comptroller for the Transport Workers Union Local 100; Nancy Lieberman, NBA Assistant Coach,  Sacramento Kings and Hall of Famer; Ruby Marchand, Vice President of International Repertoire Development at Warner Music Group and Vice Chair of the Recording Academy and Sue Phillips, President and CEO of Scenterprises. Popular radio host and actress Robin Quivers will host the event for the third year in a row.
