Trevco Launches Land, Sea, & Air Sustainability Program

The program will reduce the company’s energy consumption by 62% and use of plastic by 30%

In its continued commitment to a better tomorrow, Trevco has announced improvements to its corporate sustainability program, dubbed the Land, Sea, and Air Initiative.

Land:

As part of the initiative Trevco is partnered with Green Tree, a non-profit textiles recycling firm, to reduce & recycle textile waste. Returns will be donated to Green Tree and will be recycled into textile material for rags or insulation, reducing the impact into waste streams. Trevco has also transitioned to recycled poly bags used in shipping to the consumer, saving 30% of its plastic use.

Sea:

Trevco has also transitioned the inks it uses in a majority of its print on demand methods to eco-friendly inks. Furthermore, Trevco has removed the use of all plastic bottles of water by installing reusable water bottle stations throughout its facilities.

Air:

And Lastly, Trevco has invested in several facility upgrades to its Detroit and Salt Lake City print on demand manufacturing facilities, including a complete transformation to LED lighting and HVAC improvements which will reduce energy consumption by 62%
