Artworks! Licensing merges with Jewel Branding & Licensing, bringing with it 11 artists and expanding Jewel’s reach in giftware and tabletop categories.

Artworks! Founder Carol White remains with the firm, representing artists Todd Williams, Laurie Snow Hein, Julie Dobson Miner and others, and taking on 3-4 Jewel artists, including Sara B.

Artsworks! brings with it several licensees, including Kurt Adler, Burton & Burton (gift baskets, floral products), Conimar (placemats, table art) and Popular Bath Products (shower curtains and accessories). For its part, Jewel has relationships with QVC, Macy’s and several home bedding suppliers that could benefit Artworks! artists.

Artworks “fills some niches we didn’t have and certain categories where we haven’t been able to do as well,” says Jewel President Ilana Wilensky. “It was just a natural fit that made a lot of sense.”
