Los Angeles, CA – Grab the kids and let’s get crafty featuring 25 projects all inspired by your favorite Makers from the hit show on NBC hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman.

On behalf of our client NBCUniversal, Seltzer Licensing Group brokered with Abrams the first-ever book deal based on the competition craft series Making It. “We’re thilled this licensing partnerhsip delivers a fun, craft-filled book with engaging activies for the whole family, espeically given the current stay-at-home environment” says Stu Seltzer, president of Seltzer Licensing Group.  Published with a foreword written by Nick Offerman, the DIY craft book is available on Tuesday (April 21) at all major book sellers. The series premiered July 31, 2018 on NBC and has aired for two seasons and 14 episodes.  It was renewed for a third season in January.

Tapping into that success, The Making It Guide to Crafting, will offer in-depth looks at some of the best DIY crafts that were featured on the show and inspired by the makers themselves. Introductions to woodworking, fiber arts, paper crafts, and more will enable readers to experiment and customize their own creations at home. And the projects are accessible to all skill levels, so you can get just as crafty as the makers did. Drawing on the show’s hilarity, creativity, and overall positivity, this crafting guide will inspire and energize you to DIY whatever you put your mind to.
