STUDIOCANAL today announce three new special editions of TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of James Cameron’s Academy Award® winning Sci-Fi thriller which cemented Arnold Schwarzenegger’s status as action royalty, and created a new archetype for action heroines in Linda Hamilton’s role as Sarah Connor.

Three new editions will be launched including a limited-edition Endo Skull set, a new Vinyl edition, including Brad Fiedel’s masterful Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on Vinyl, as well as a new Steelbook edition.  All three editions showcase the new artwork created by celebrated American artist, Tracie Ching.

The editions will be available in STUDIOCANAL’s territories UK (December 6th), France (December 8th) and Germany (December 9th).  A Home Entertainment release is also planned in Poland (December TBC) via STUDIOCANAL partners Studio N.

In further celebration of the film’s 30th Anniversary, STUDIOCANAL has joined forces with DreamFactory to stage a special TERMINATOR 2 immersive screening based in a dedicated space around Paris, to experience TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY like never before.  With specially themed bars and restaurants, and a cast of actors, the immersive event will be available for participants between December 2021 – March 2022.

STUDIOCANAL are also partnering with Gameloft for a TERMINATOR 2-themed challenge in multiplayer real-time strategy game War Planet Online.  Players will be able to join Sarah Connor to prevent Judgment Day, fighting Skynet’s T-800 Renegades and their war machines.  Fans can compete in a series of events to prevent the end of the world, winning exclusive Terminator rewards along the way.  TERMINATOR 2 will be integrated into the game from mid-October through to mid-December 2021.
