Frankfurt, Germany — Frankfurter Buchmesse (16-20 October 2024) to focus on the journey from page to screen. The trade show launches a series of events designed to connect players from the publishing world with the film industry.

On Friday, 18 October, Frankfurter Buchmesse’s Book-to-Screen Day will feature

• a site tour for international production executives:  9.30 AM –10.30 AM.
• a masterclass on best practices for first steps in the book-to-screen business with producer Delphine Clot and book rights expert Maÿlis Vauterin, founders of the Paris-based book-to-screen agency Matriochkas: 10:00 – 10:45 AM, THE ARTS+ stage, Hall 4.1.

An exclusive Book-to-Screen matchmaking event in cooperation with Berlin Fim Festival with publishers and literary agencies at which international producers will have 1:1 meetings with selected international publishing houses and agencies: 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM followed by Drinks & Pretzels. • Book-to-Screen Drinks —Frankfurter Buchmesse invites international publishing, film and games professionals to mix and mingle:  6:00PM in THE ARTS+ area in Hall 4.1.
• dedicated meeting space for producers to connect with publishing professionals from around the world (Wednesday, October 16 through Friday, October 18) in THE ARTS+ lounge in Hall 4.1.
