How do you start your day?
With stretching and 30 minutes of cardio followed by oatmeal or a Nutrisystem bun bar.
What’s one item you always need on your desk?
File folders, legal pads, and a Diet Coke.
What unique skill or characteristic do you bring to your team?
My goal is to elevate the team’s confidence and delegate tasks that will allow them to be successful and stretch their capabilities.
What is something you learned at a previous job that prepared you for your current role?
“Please,” “Thank you,” and “You Not Me.”
What is your favorite aspect of your current role?
The freedom to create new things and work within the organization.
What is one thing you would change about the licensing industry?
More yes and less no.
If you had an extra hour in your workday, how would you use it?
Talking to my grandchildren.
What is one thing you need to do every day to feel accomplished?
I need to know I did my best at whatever I tried to do that day. And, ideally, know that I made a difference.
Are you a carry-on or checked bag traveler?
Carry-on whenever possible.
What do you always have in your suitcase on a work trip?
Hard pretzels that are individually packaged and phone chargers.
If you weren’t in licensing, what would you be doing?
I would enjoy the beach daily.
What advice would you give to yourself 10 years ago?
Stop working and smell the roses.
What are you most excited about moving forward?
Being with my wife and enjoying more of the world.
