
Aéropostale Launches Back-to-School Capsule Designed by Gen Z Creator Demetra Dias
NEW YORK, NY – Just in time for back-to-school, Aéropostale is dropping a new capsule collection that blends girly, cozy, and effortlessly cool vibes; designed by Gen Z, for Gen Z. Introducing Demetra for Aéropostale, a 57-piece collection co-created with 18-year-old content creator and style muse Demetra Dias, known for her bold energy, relatable charm, and standout personal style.
Demetra’s attachment to the brand extends beyond the collection with her joining Aéro’s New York HQ as a marketing intern—yes, including sitting in meetings, taking notes, and learning the ropes behind the scenes. What no one knew? She was also secretly co-designing our next big drop. (Spoiler alert: her final Intern Diaries post made the big reveal).
From viral videos in high school to her freshman dorm move-in this fall, Demetra’s journey with Aéro has come full circle, and this capsule is the ultimate expression of her style. Think: hangouts with friends, cozy dorm nights, and everything in between through playful prints, soft layers, classic stripes, and pieces you’ll actually want to live in. Plus, a new signature scent: Daydreamer by Demetra.
“Interning at Aéro was seriously such a full-circle moment. I grew up shopping here, so to actually go on and have the opportunity to learn how everything works behind the scenes, and then get to design my own collection? I still can’t believe it,” said Demetra. “Every piece feels like something I’d wear every day.”

Demetra for Aéropostale launches exclusively on the Aéropostale App July 17, followed by Aeropostale.com on July 19, and in stores nationwide (U.S. & Puerto Rico) starting July 23.
Fans can meet Demetra in person at a special Roosevelt Field Mall (NY) Meet & Greet on July 22, where she’ll share her fave pieces, pose for selfies, and spill behind-the-scenes details.
