IMG Licensing and Circana to Deliver European Retail Insights for Brand Licensing Europe’s Day Two Keynote

London, UK — An international licensing agent and trend expert will take part in Brand Licensing Europe’s day two keynote sharing exclusive European retail insight with attendees.
BLE is Europe’s biggest event dedicated to licensing and brand extension, taking place 7-9 October 2025, Excel London. Tickets are free and registration is open now.
Moderated by License Global’s content director Ben Roberts, the panel will feature:
-
Rory Partis, director, UK Toys, Circana
-
Tim Smith, senior vice president, IMG Licensing
Taking place on Wednesday 8 October at 12:30 pm in the License Global Theatre (E200), the keynote panel session will bring together the above key industry voices to provide an in-depth look at the European retail landscape.
“While Europe is often viewed as a single market, distinct regional differences shape consumer behaviour, brand performance and economic trends,” explained BLE event director Ella Haynes. “By focusing on key markets (such as FING: France, Italy, The Netherlands, Germany), our day two keynote will explore several impacting factors.”
These factors include:
-
Consumer confidence: What’s driving or hindering spending?
-
Retail spending influences: How do economic and social factors impact purchase habits?
-
Brand preference & demand: Which brands and products resonate in different regions?
-
Regional strategy: How can brands tailor their approach to maximize success?
-
Product performance: Which categories thrive in specific markets?
-
Consumer trends: How is the overall health of the European retail ecosystem evolving?
“The European retail landscape is hugely dynamic, with consumer confidence, economic conditions and cultural differences all playing a role in shaping shopper behaviour,” Rory Partis, director UK Toys at Circana. “Success can only be achieved by looking at the detail behind what drives consumer choice – helping retailers and brands to tailor strategies and achieve growth in a competitive environment.”
