San Francisco, CA — Active play system developer Nex is launching Unicorn Academy: Friendship Adventures within Nex Playground as a new motion-powered game experience.

The game is inspired by Spin Master’s the fantasy-adventure series Unicorn Academy and was released Wednesday with a Play Pass subscription.

In Unicorn Academy: Friendship Adventures, players take on quests, bond with their unicorns, and unlock new magical abilities all through active play. Players gallop, jump, and steer their unicorns using full-body movement, completing activities such as hunting Grim magic, collecting Fate Fairies, and discovering Sky Berries. At launch, four rider-unicorn pairs will be available, including Wildstar, Glacier, River, and Cinder. As they progress, players can unlock new unicorns, expand their magical powers, and explore new areas of Unicorn Island.
