LONDON, 3rd September 2026 – LW Entertainment (LWE) is moving into the next phase of growth for its global consumer products business, announcing an expanding roster of licensing partners across fashion, accessories, stationery, gifts and collectables as it builds long-term entertainment franchises around some of musical theatre’s most iconic global brands.

The expansion marks the next phase in LW Entertainment’s evolution as an entertainment licensor, with a strategy designed to take its celebrated stories and characters beyond the stage and create new ways for audiences to engage with them year-round.

As Phantom of the Opera celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, the milestone marks a major new chapter, led by existing global partnerships with UNIQLO and Penguin Random House. These are in addition to LW Entertainment’s ongoing partnership with The Other Songs and The Orchard to manage Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary music back catalogue and new recordings.

A growing network of specialist partners extends into new categories, territories and retail channels as LW Entertainment’s brands continue to evolve across major markets.

Supporting the next stage of this development is the launch of the new global store on AndrewLloydWebber.com, creating a dedicated, fan-focused e-commerce destination that brings multiple consumer product categories together in one place for the first time. The store gives fans access to exclusive and limited-edition products spanning physical music, apparel, accessories, archival artwork and prints, gifts and collectables, alongside exclusive collaborations.

A GROWING GLOBAL PARTNER NETWORK

LW Entertainment is expanding its global fashion and accessories footprint through a growing network of new licensee partnerships. Globally, the programme includes Ceremony of Roses, MuseARTa and Erstwilder, with SheTells and Formasupporting fashion activity locally in China, alongside Goodie Two Sleeves and Los Angeles-based People of Leisure in North America. With a strong focus on Phantom of the Opera, the new partnerships will bring fashion and accessories collections inspired by the iconic production to markets from October 2026 onwards.

Importantly, the expansion is beginning to demonstrate the potential of the wider LW Entertainment portfolio. Jewellery and accessories partner Licensed to Charm is developing collections spanning Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar and Starlight Express, providing an early example of a licensing strategy that can extend across multiple LW Entertainment properties.

The programme is also expanding significantly across stationery and paper goods from September 2026 onwards. LW Entertainment continues to grow its strategic relationship with renowned design studio MinaLima, bringing an opulent, bespoke Phantom of the Opera range to fans. Separately, a new elevated stationery collection will launch globally with Paperblanks.

Further growth is underway in gifts and collectables. Gibsons is bringing Phantom of the Opera into puzzles, supported by retail activity including Hamleys ahead of Christmas. Shining Soul joins the programme in China across gift products, collectable cards and plush, while Charlie Bears is planning a global premium collectable plush programme for 2027. Nemesis Now will initially develop premium collectables around Phantom of the Opera, with opportunities to extend into the wider franchise portfolio planned. More partnerships are in the pipeline for 2027 and beyond.

LWE’s global publishing programme with Penguin Random House will roll out in September and October 2026, led by the new Young Adult (YA) title Our Strange Duet, a reimagining of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera told through the eyes of Christine Daaé for the first time.  The publishing strategy creates another route for LW Entertainment’s stories to reach new audiences beyond the theatre, with retail support including Waterstones and Barnes & Noble.

Recent music releases further demonstrate the breadth of the Andrew Lloyd Webber brand, including a full cast album of Evita featuring Rachel Zegler, as well as Sam Ryder’s new recordings of ‘What’s the Buzz’ and ‘Gethsemane’ from Jesus Christ Superstar.

“Our ambition extends far beyond a single anniversary or title. We have an extraordinary portfolio of iconic brands with established, passionate audiences around the world, and we’re creating new ways for them to connect with the stories they love,” said Kerry Fox-Long, Global Director of Licensing – Consumer Products at LW Entertainment.

Fox-Long continued: “The calibre and breadth of partners joining our programme reflect the momentum and focus behind the consumer products business. We’re expanding into new categories and markets and building a robust platform for future growth.”

With further partnerships and initiatives in development, LW Entertainment enters the final months of 2026 with a significantly expanded consumer products footprint and a growing pipeline extending through 2027 and beyond.
