Baby Shark Marks 10 Years with Limited-Edition Vinyl and Global Music Releases
Limited-edition liquid vinyl available now, with only 2,222 copies available worldwide
Digital birthday album released in June, with London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) collaboration coming later this year
Seoul, South Korea — The Pinkfong Company is marking Baby Shark’s 10-year anniversary with a series of global music releases, including a limited edition vinyl, a digital EP, and an upcoming collaboration with the London Symphony Orchestra.
The new collectible vinyl album, Baby Shark 10-Year Anniversary Limited Edition, commemorates the extraordinary global success of the Baby Shark song, which has set multiple records including the most-viewed video on YouTube, a 20-week streak on the Billboard Hot 100, and the most streamed video of the Official Chart’s streaming era in the UK.
Only 2,222 copies were produced worldwide, reflecting the “doo doo doo doo doo doo” melody’s rhythmic connection to the number two. The vinyl features a unique liquid-filled design with a wave-like blue liquid sealed inside the disc. Each album is handcrafted in Germany, combining artistic craftsmanship with high-quality sound engineering.
The album features 20 tracks across various genres, including remixes of “Baby Shark” in classical, EDM, lo-fi, and pop styles. Side A, titled “Ocean Splash”, delivers upbeat tracks full of energy and fun, while Side B, “Ocean Breeze”, offers soothing lullaby-inspired melodies. The limited-edition vinyl is now available globally through major online and offline retailers, including Amazon, Rough Trade, and Amoeba Music.
“This is one of several music projects we’ve prepared this year to celebrate Baby Shark’s 10-year anniversary,” said Bitna Kwon, Chief Strategy Officer at The Pinkfong Company. “Through a variety of formats and genres, we’re offering fans new ways to enjoy the music they love.”
In addition to the vinyl, a digital mini-album titled Baby Shark’s Birthday Splash was released earlier in June, featuring six tracks such as the festive track “Let’s Get This Party Started!” The EP is available on major music streaming platforms worldwide, including Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music.
Later this year a new music video featuring Baby Shark and the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO), will be released. The collaboration will explore a unique fusion of classical instrumentation with Baby Shark’s playful melodies.
