BondiBand To Be Represented by Planeta Junior
BondiBand the animated series co-produced by Exim Licensing Group, Leda Films and Mondo TV Spain will be exclusively represented by Planeta Junior in the EMEA territories. The agreement covers all broadcasting platforms and the Licensing and Merchandising management of the series by the Planeta Junior offices located in Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Athens and Prague. After the great accomplishment created in Latin America and the presence of the series in Asia, Europe is now the next priority for this series.
Following the great success generated by the presence of the series in Disney XD Latam with consistent good ratings and in Free TV through RCN (Colombia), Teleamazonas (Ecuador), Televisa in Mexico, Bandeirantes in Brazil and Telefé in Argentina amongst all the channels that already acquired the series in Latin America, BondiBand is now aiming to Europe to generate the same kind of achievement.
Together with this strong TV presence, Internet has been key to consolidate this multiplatform property into a well-known brand in Latin America with thousands of fans in the official Facebook page and close to 1,000,000 screenings within the YouTube pages, in just 6 months! Planeta Junior and BondiBand LLC will work also together to adapt the content locally and to increase even more the traffic and the awareness of the brand.
The licensing activity in Latin America, managed directly by the Exim Licensing offices, has been frenetic and more than 150 products hit so far the shelves. The aim, with this agreement, is to replicate the model and have at the end of 2014 and all 2015 as main objective to maximize the potential of the series.
“We are delighted to have a group such as Planeta Junior on board with us to represent BondiBand in the EMEA region. With their knowledge and strong local presence, the synergies that we could create with our own offices should enhance even more the BondiBand’s possibilities of success”, says Elias Hofman, BondiBand and Exim Licensing Group’s CEO.
Diego Ibañez, International Commercial Director at Planeta Junior said “Bondiband is a property that beautifully complements our portfolio of animation, for a target that is very hard to engage in recent times. At Planeta Junior, we are convinced that Bondiband is extremely funny, disrupting, and features a talented licensing program, that very few companies as Exim Licensing Group can create”
BondiBand is the story of 6 rock students (4 boys and 2 girls) that become super heroes when the Pink Stone, the major source of energy in the world, located just underneath their city, Sunshine Ville, is attacked by the wicked Miss C.LEBRITY and her horrible monsters. To fight against those inventions, the kids will use their instruments that will magically get transformed into powerful special gadgets. This 52 x 11’ series based in action, humor and music is entirely focused for a strong Licensing and product roll out development and will also have several Internet and mobile phone applications together with a live show.
