NEW YORK (September 12, 2013) – Knockout Licensing Co-Presidents Tamra Knepfer and Carole Postal today announced the first four Australian licensing partners for Boo – The World’s Cutest Dog™, the adorable social media sensation with over 7.4 million Facebook™ fans.
• Caprice Australia (www.caprice.com.au) has been granted the license to manufacture and market Boo Bedding, Bags and Luggage, Footwear, Headwear, Underwear, Swimwear, Sleepwear, and Outwear. Established in 1959, Caprice is one of the largest suppliers of fashionable textile homewares for the Australian, New Zealand and Asian markets.
• Jasnor (www.jasnor.com.au) has been granted rights to distribute Boo premium Plush from GUND. Founded in 1988, Melbourne-based Jasnor is one of Australasia’s leading distributors of quality gifts, educational toys, plush and leading licensed brands. One of the key factors to Jasnor’s success is their respect for brands and products. GUND is one of Jasnor’s most prolific brands.
• Outliving (www.outliving.com.au) has been granted the license to make and sell Boo Giftware and Houseware items. Founded in 2003, Outliving has become an international force in gift and homeware. With a combination of brands created and designed in-house and also other fresh design-led brands sourced from hip designers that span the globe. Outliving prides itself on designing and sourcing the best products and offering the friendliest most efficient customer service to the department stores, apparel chain, giftware chain, stationery chain, and boutique gift stores it supplies.
• Target Australia (www.target.com.au) has been granted the right to create its own line of Girls Outerwear to be sold exclusively at Target stores and Target Online in Australia.
Target Australia, part of the Wesfarmers Ltd group (with no affiliation with Target Corporation US), is an iconic Australian retailer with over 300 stores conveniently located in both metropolitan and regional areas across Australia. Target Australia is dedicated to delivering style and quality every day at prices its customers love.
All four deals were brokered by Grahame Allan Company Pty. Ltd. as the sub-agent appointed by Knockout to manage the Boo licensing program in Australia. In addition to licensed Boo products from Caprice, Jasnor, Outliving, and Target, Boo fans in Australia will also find several Boo book titles (including BOO -Life of the World’s Cutest Dog, BOO – Little Dog in the Big City, BOO’s ABC, and BOO Paperdoll Set) available from Hardie Grant Books.
