Chick-Fil-A has Partnered with Best-Selling Children’s Book Author-Illustrator Diane Alber

Summer 2022 Kids Meal Book Promotion to Commence July 2022

Phoenix, AZ, —  Chick-Fil-A is partnering with Diane Alber to include five bestselling titles from her Scribble book series for the 2022 Kids meal book promotion.  Alber is a prolific picture book author and illustrator whose titles regularly top Amazon’s best-selling lists.  Her slate of over 50 children’s books addresses social-emotional learning topics and is on track to sell three million units in 2022.

The five books chosen for the promotion are—I’m Not Just a Scribble…, Scribble Stones, Splatters, Snippets, and Invisible Scribble —all featuring inspiring stories that teach kindness, inclusion, teamwork, and perseverance in a fun and colorful way. The books will be available in more than 2700 restaurants and in 47 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and Canada. The promotion is scheduled to start in July 2022 and run for one month. All the books will come with an activity featuring stickers for children to create their own characters in the back of the book.

“My passion is to create books that help children become the best they can be! I strive to inspire children’s creativity and imagination and help them to identify and manage their emotions. I am excited to partner with Chick-Fil-A because I think it is a wonderful opportunity to bring these fun and engaging stories to children across the country,” commented Alber.

Alber is also the founder of National Scribble Day, celebrated annually on March 27 since 2019. This day was created to share a message of kindness and encourage children to create art regardless of their ability. Over 5,000 schools participated in the celebration in March 2022 and she hopes to double that next year!

Recently, Alber signed a global master toy deal with TOMY International to develop a broad range of branded SEL-focused products. These products will include plush toys, with and without added features and technology, and plastic figures based on A Little SPOT  book series. These toys plan to debut at retail in 2023.   Additionally, multiple titles of Alber’s Never Let a Unicorn series were licensed to Scholastic Book Clubs and Fairs.
