Maurizio Distefano Licensing, which manages the licensing programme for the Il Milanese Imbruttito brand in Italy, has announced an agreement in the Italian market with Milan-based greeting cards company Cromo for a range of greeting cards inspired by the witty and irreverent property.
The Cromo collection, targeting card buyers of all ages, is called Irreverent Greeting Cards by Il Milanese Imbruttito.
Il Milanese Imbruttito, which is inspired by the people of Milan and their irony, sharp humour, and style, has earned a special place in the hearts of its many followers. Cromo’s card range will build on this success with cards that bring Il Milanese Imbruttito’s unique wit, creativity and spirit to a range that offers something genuinely new and different. It will include greeting cards for events such as birthdays, weddings, graduations and more, as well as Christmas cards.
The cards will be launched across Italy in two phases. The Il Milanese Imbruttito Christmas collection will be previewed in catalogues in January/February 2024, with retail delivery from September 2024. The general greetings collection will appear in catalogues in May 2024. Delivery to retail will take place in the same month.
Cromo products are distributed through retailers (bookstores, tobacco shops, stationery stores, and gift shops) and wholesale. Some collections are also delivered to large-scale retail. The company has a sales network throughout Italy and a B2B shop.
