Santa Monica, Calif. – UBM Advanstar, organizers of Licensing Expo, the world’s largest and most influential licensing industry event, is pleased to announce the addition of a pioneering Matchmaking Service for its June 21-23, 2016 show. Led by an online platform that helps attendees and exhibitors setup meetings in advance of the show, the Licensing Expo Matchmaking Service is complemented by a team of experienced business matchmaking professionals who will provide assistance and support to exhibitors and attendees throughout the year. The Matchmaking Team will also be onsite to give hands-on support to exhibitors and attendees during the show. The Service is priced at $500 but will be offered free of charge to all attendees and exhibitors in 2016.

In 2015, Licensing Expo, sponsored by the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA), featured 460 exhibiting companies in 232,000 square feet, an increase of 6.5% from 2014, and welcomed 15% more retailers than the previous year.
Highlights from Licensing Expo 2015 included more than 150 new exhibitors; Keynotes featuring executives from Hot Topic, Toys”R”Us, Inc, Delivery Agent and Global Brands Group; The Opening Night Party sponsored by Endemol Shine North America and LIMA and co-hosted by Sony Music who presented Fifth Harmony as the special guest performer; the inaugural Digital Media Licensing Summit; and live stunts performed by Nitro Circus.
