SAMURAI ANIMALS is a combination of two important elements – “Samurai” and “12 Animals of the Zodiac”- into a single concept. People are strongly attached to a particular animal character depending on their year of birth. Thus products incorporating Zodiac animals are considered auspicious.
For 2012, the Year of the Dragon, a professional 3D laser etched crystal sculpture manufacturer, Ware Supply, has launched the first product of the Premium Laser Crystal Figure Collection, the SAMURAI ANIMALS- Blue Dragon. The images that produce this fine product are made up of millions of tiny dots. “Compared to other crystal figure products, you will be surprised at the high level of detail in Blue Dragon.”, says Yutarou Sakakibara, president of KENSIN.
In addition, Atelier MITANI has released a high quality Japanese Urushi lacquerware iPhone case. Japanese Urushi lacquerware products are highly regarded around the world and by featuring a SAMURAI ANIMALS character, Atelier MITANI has successfully blended tradition with innovation. After an initial foundation coating followed by four stages of painting and polishing the lacquer, a top coating is applied and pure silver is added to the side of the iPhone case to produce the final product. The SAMURAI ANIMALS Dragon illustration is created by applying gold leaf and gold dust. Every detail is well represented.
