Ford’s Garage Signs Multi-Unit Franchise Deal in Iowa
The first Iowa location is expected to open within the next 12 months, with additional restaurants planned to follow over a five-year development timeline. Quad Assembly LLC is a newly formed venture between Mike Conatser and three other local entrepreneurs with deep roots in the restaurant industry. Conatser brings more than two decades of experience as a Little Caesars franchisee, currently operating locations across Iowa and Illinois.
“After 21 years with Little Caesars, I began looking for an opportunity to grow with another brand, and Ford’s Garage immediately stood out,” said Conatser. “I’m originally from Detroit, so Ford has always had a special place in my heart. The atmosphere, the quality of the food, and the level of service at Ford’s Garage really hit every note. There’s nothing like it in Iowa, and we’re excited to bring something truly new and memorable to these communities.”
Ford’s Garage offers a unique blend of crave-worthy comfort food, craft beer, and vintage automotive nostalgia. Known for its signature burgers, over-the-top desserts, and themed décor featuring classic cars, gas pumps, and a true 1920s garage vibe, Ford’s Garage creates a destination for families, foodies, and car enthusiasts alike.
The Iowa expansion marks another strategic milestone for the brand as it continues to grow nationwide through experienced, community-focused franchise partners.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mike and the Quad Assembly LLC team to the Ford’s Garage family and to officially bring the brand to Iowa,” said Billy Downs, President of Ford’s Garage. “The group’s operational experience, passion for the brand, and strong local partnerships make them ideal franchisees. Iowa has been on our radar for a while, and we’re confident these restaurants will resonate with guests looking for a high-quality dining experience with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.”
