Everett, WA — Funko has appointed Glenn Abell as senior vice president of sale for the U.S. and Canada.

A former Mattel, Lego and Moose Toys executive,  Abell has “a strong track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing sales teams, we are confident he will play a key role in Funko’s strategic fandom expansion and transformation,” said Cynthia Williams, CEO of Funko. “His deep industry knowledge and passion for the collectibles market make him the ideal leader to propel our sales organization forward.”

In his new role, Abell will oversee Funko’s sales organization, driving strategy, execution, and growth across wholesale and specialty sales channels. His extensive background in sales leadership, category management, and business development is expected to be pivotal in strengthening Funko’s retail presence and partnerships.

Abell also has extensive board experience, most recently serving on the Board of Trustees for the Toy Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Toy Industry Association in the US, and as an advisor for various organizations in the toy and e-sports industries.
