Her Universe relaunches its web site as one of its first public changes since being acquired by Hot Topic last fall. “Please know that going forward our goal is to have more plus sizes than ever before,” Her Universe Founder Ashley Eckstein said in a letter to customers posted on the site.

At the time of Her Universe’s sale, Eckstein told us collections were being co-developed with Hot Topic and that menswear – button-down shirts, blazers and pants – was due in the fall (Inside Licensing Nov. 8 p4). Her Universe also is reviving its publishing arm as HU Press, Eckstein said. Her Universe Press was launched with Permuted Press in fall 2015 as an imprint designed to promote female authors and artists.
