Iconic Konami IPs Bomberman and Contra Unveil New Specialty Items For 2021
New York, NY – Bomberman and Contra – two iconic KONAMI IPs – will soon have more product to offer fans with the conclusion of two new licensing agreements. The announcement was made today by Jennifer Coleman, Vice President of Licensing and Marketing, Konami Cross Media NY, Inc.
A recent licensing agreement with Neamedia morphs Bomberman into beautifully crafted, highly-stylized 3D figurines, destined to become a must-have collector’s item. Fans will be able to choose between one of two different sized Bombermans, and full-color and black and white monochrome versions. The Bomberman figures will be widely available in specialty, mass and online retailers globally in time for holiday shopping. The Bomberman figures will be part of a new publishing label: Neamedia Icons.
The Yetee, a well-known on-line retailer and fan site, will soon have a product range featuring both Contra and Bomberman IPs. Scheduled to launch in Q1 2021, the offerings will include: Hawaiian style shirts, hats, t-shirts and screen-printed posters. Additionally, the company will make Contra action figures featuring Bill Rizer and Lance Bean.
“We are pleased to be working with these two highly creative and collaborative partners,” said Coleman. “Neamedia has a reputation for pushing creative boundaries and creating visually stunning figurines and The Yetee is a gaming fan-favorite thanks to their inspired designs and fun product lines that enthusiasts cannot resist.”
