GB eye are flying high – or at least floating 6 inches above the ground – after their triumph at the Licensing Awards 2011, where they won the category “Best Licensed Paper Products or Stationery Range” with their Star Wars Classic Poster and 3D Poster Range.
Max Arguile, Licensing Manager said “having been shortlisted twice before it is a great feeling to win the category. I am really proud that our design and product team have received the recognition for their creative work. It is a reward for all the great and innovative design done over the year on all our licenses”.
Drew Mander, lead designer on the Star Wars range commented “this is a fantastic achievement and testament to the design team. I would like to give my thanks to Lucas and TLC for their support over the years as this has been key to our success”.
