New York, NY — Today, Licensing International announced global licensing expert Ute Stauss as its new German MD.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ute Stauss as our newest MD,” said Maura Regan, President of Licensing International. “Her unique perspective—as well as her significant expertise in global brand development and product strategy across fashion, lifestyle, gaming, and sports—will be instrumental in our ongoing efforts to expand our offerings in the region.”

Based in Munich, Stauss will be responsible for supporting Licensing International’s German members through networking opportunities, educational programs, expanded retail initiatives, and the Young Professionals Network (YPN).

“I am eager to collaborate with the Licensing International team and support members throughout the region. I look forward to strengthening our strategy in Germany, which is a key market for the global licensing community,” said Stauss.

Stauss is a freelance consumer products executive as well as a retail and strategy consultant. She worked for nearly two decades with The Walt Disney Company, most recently serving as the Director for Fashion & Home. In her role as a strategy consultant, Stauss has worked with a number of media and entertainment companies, including Formula E, NBC Universal, and the NFLPA.

Stauss is taking on the role effective February 1, 2024.
