Licensing International Expands Partnership with BrandTrends Group, Introduces BrandTrends Intelligence Platform to Members image

NEW YORK — Licensing International, the leading trade association for the $389+ billion global brand licensing industry, has partnered with BrandTrends Group to support its members with access to the market research firm’s new interactive platform.

Through this collaboration, the interactive BrandTrends Intelligence (BTI) platform will be available to Licensing International members at preferential member pricing. The dashboard, which is available as a browser-based web application, allows users to explore consumer awareness, brand popularity, and appeal across age demographics; customize data to answer specific questions; and access insights from more than 40 countries.

“With so many factors affecting the brand licensing industry on a global level, it is more important than ever to understand and take advantage of emerging trends,” said Maura Regan, President of Licensing International. “This expansion of our ongoing work with BrandTrends will support our members with more of the information they need to succeed. We will continue to work tirelessly to provide the global brand licensing industry with the tools and insights that will allow them to grow their businesses.”

“Licensing decisions are still too often made on instinct. BrandTrends Intelligence puts the consumer behind every brand on the table, so licensors, licensees, and retailers can test their assumptions before they sign. Licensing International’s members are the people making those decisions. Giving them direct access was the natural next step in our partnership,” said Philippe Guinaudeau, CEO of BrandTrends Group.

Industry professionals can join BrandTrends on Wednesday, November 4, at 12:00pm ET for a live demonstration of the interactive BTI platform. Registration for the virtual demonstration is available on Licensing International’s website.

Access to this interactive platform further expands Licensing International’s research offerings for its members.

In addition to two annual batches of the Global Pulse on Brands reports from BrandTrends, Licensing International also makes 25 in-depth reports from Euromonitor International available each year (with a total of more than 100 reports now available for free to members). Licensing International also launches its own Global Licensing Industry Study annually to provide a comprehensive overview of the industry broken down by country, category, and business segment.
