LPGA Adds Apparel and Hosiery Licenses , With Deals Secured by The Brand Liaison

New York, NY, December 3, 2015:  The LPGA is proud to announce two new licensing partnerships for apparel and hosiery, in deals secured by The Brand Liaison, the exclusive licensing agent for the LPGA. Sport Haley will create LPGA branded apparel and Best Legwear Group is set to launch LPGA socks and hosiery.

Sport-Haley, Inc., a leader in women’s golf apparel, will be developing a line of co-branded apparel under their brands, Sport Haley and Bette and Court, designed for the golf, specialty and departments store channels and has also secured the rights to do distribute LPGA brand apparel in mass and discount chains.

“Sport Haley and the LPGA share a common commitment to female golfers and we believe in the power of the LPGA brand and mission to advance the sport of women’s golf,” says Sam Kidston, Chairman of Sport Haley, Inc. “Sport Haley has been designing women’s performance golf apparel for over 28 years and we couldn’t be more excited to create a line of LPGA branded Sport Haley apparel for all channels of golf apparel distribution.”

In addition, LPGA has also signed a licensing deal with Best Legwear Group, Inc. for LPGA branded socks and hosiery including golf performance socks.

“We are excited about the launch of our new LPGA legwear,” said Best Legwear President Robert Sussman.  “LPGA legwear will be constructed out of the finest yarns for great fit, comfort and moisture wicking properties.  LPGA socks can be enjoyed by golfer and non-golfers alike for everyday comfort and fashion needs as well.”

Products from both Sport Haley and Best Legwear Group will debut at the PGA Show in Orlando in January 2016 and will be available in golf retail channels in Spring/Summer 2016.

The Brand Liaison continues to focus on expanding the iconic LPGA brand and the new Girl’s Golf brand into a variety of consumer products including apparel, accessories, golf equipage and other products for both on course performance and aspirational lifestyle. The company is currently scheduling meetings with the LPGA and prospective licensees for the PGA Show January 27-29 in Orlando Florida.
