Print-on-Demand supplier Mylocker.net launches shopyugioh.com web site, featuring internally developed Yu-Gi-Oh men’s, women’s and youth t-shirts and hoodies as well as iPad and iPhone cases. The site is focusing for the first month on merchandise tied to the recently released Yu-Gi-Oh: Dark Side of Dimensions movie, which launched in 500 theaters in the U.S. on Jan. 27 and expanded to the UK and Australia this week. The web site will broaden later this month to also include products related to the Yu-Gi-Oh TV series, says 4K Media’s Jennifer Coleman, who heads licensing for the property.

Meanwhile, Good Smile Co. and Kotobukiya signed licenses for collectibles, replacing NECA, whose agreement with 4K expired last year. Kotobukiya is suppling product tied to the new movie, while Good Smile is developing them for the Yu-Gi-Oh TV series. 4K also has added Custom Wall Scrolls for wall hanging products and Silver Buffalo for ceramic plates, glassware and some wall art. UK-based licensee GB eye also is expanding distribution of its Yu-Gi-Oh posters and mugs to brick and mortar retailers in Europe and Asia, after testing with online retailers last fall, says GB eye’s Max Arguile.
